Honors the life and legacy of Arizona House Representative Bob McLendon, who passed away on March 9, 2022, at age 85 in Yuma, Arizona.

Recognizes McLendon's 37-year teaching career at Yuma High School (1961-1998) and his nine terms in the Arizona House of Representatives beginning in 1982, where he served as House Democratic Leader.

Acknowledges his instrumental role in establishing Northern Arizona University-Yuma and his advocacy for education funding and public health services in Yuma County.

Notes his post-legislative service on the Yuma County Board of Supervisors (2000-2004) and Arizona Board of Regents (2008-2012) as its first rural representative.

Extends the Legislature's deepest sympathies to his surviving family members, including his wife Sandra, daughter Bobbie Jo Coxon, and three grandsons.
