Honors Theodore "Teddy" Castro, who passed away on March 21, 2022, at age 48, and was born in Phoenix on April 21, 1973.

Recognizes his 20+ year career as a real estate agent and designated broker/partner at Nexgen Real Estate, one of Arizona's largest independently owned Latino companies.

Acknowledges his leadership in the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP), including serving as founding member and president of the Greater Phoenix chapter, which earned Chapter of the Year in 2020.

Highlights his community advocacy through We Heart Community organization supporting underserved schools, youth sports coaching, and campaigns for Arizona House of Representatives and school board focusing on education and opportunity.

Extends the House of Representatives' sincere sympathies to his surviving family: daughters Victoria and Jaedyn, son Teddy Jr., grandson Quentin, and parents Alice Cortes and Dan Castro.
