Charter schools are now eligible to compute and receive funding for the teacher experience index under section 15-941, with all FTE teachers included in the calculation regardless of certification status.

Charter schools may calculate and receive additional teacher compensation funding under section 15-952, where "teacher compensation" includes salaries, fringe benefits, and other nonsalary benefits for all teachers regardless of certification status.

Charter schools seeking additional teacher compensation funding must submit evidence that their teacher performance evaluation system meets state board standards and that teacher evaluators meet minimum qualifications recommended for school districts.

The bill amends section 15-185 of Arizona Revised Statutes relating to charter school financing and operations.
