Expands the definition of dental practice to include administering botulinum toxin type A and dermal fillers to the oral maxillofacial complex for therapeutic or cosmetic purposes.

Clarifies that dental practice encompasses the oral maxillofacial facial complex, broadening the anatomical scope beyond traditional oral structures.

Adds unprofessional conduct provision prohibiting dental therapists from providing services or procedures that exceed their scope of practice or authorized collaborative practice agreement.

Amends unprofessional conduct definition to require that drugs and devices be prescribed, dispensed, or used in conjunction with the scope of practice prescribed in the dentistry statute.

Became law effective March 18, 2022, with approval by the Governor.
