Department of Child Safety must hire an independent consultant with advanced analytics expertise to analyze hotline allegation data and identify associations between allegation types and protective service responses.

Evaluation must identify specific types of abuse and neglect allegations by number and percentage, and determine which characteristics were associated with findings that children were unsafe, required removal from home, or were safe.

Independent consultant must submit findings and recommendations report to the governor, legislature leaders, and joint legislative oversight committee on or before July 1, 2023.

Section repeals automatically on December 31, 2023.
