Amends Arizona law to require municipalities and counties to issue building permits for new single-family residential structures with a 208/240-volt, fifty-ampere, NEMA 14-50 branch circuit and dedicated outlet for electric vehicle charging in the garage or within ten feet of a parking space.

Exempts manufactured homes, residential structures under 1,000 square feet, structures without off-street parking, and structures where adding a fifty-ampere circuit would require main service to exceed 200 amperes.

Establishes a two-year electric vehicle-ready homes pilot program administered by the Department of Administration to reimburse residential structure owners up to $1,000 for installing high voltage electrical outlets for electric vehicle charging.

Excludes from reimbursement any person who has already received funding from a utility company for electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

Appropriates $500,000 from the state general fund to the Department of Administration for fiscal year 2022-2023 to fund the pilot program, which expires September 30, 2025.
