AZ SB1151

Establishes a two-year electric vehicle charging station pilot program administered by the Department of Administration.

Allows all state agencies to apply for funding to install electric vehicle charging stations at their locations.

Permits private entities to locate and operate fee-based charging stations at the legislature, state agencies, and Arizona Board of Regents university properties.

Requires the Department of Administration to submit a report by December 31, 2024 detailing revenues, costs, and estimated greenhouse gas emissions avoided from the charging stations.

Program is repealed if no federal monies are received within eighteen months of the effective date, and is automatically repealed on September 30, 2025.
