AZ SB1203

Repeals one version of Arizona Revised Statutes section 36-405 and amends another version relating to director powers and duties for health care institution licensing.

Removes language allowing the director to establish fees for "architectural plans and specifications reviews" from section 36-405(B)(5).

Amends section 36-421 to require health care institution license applications to include a notarized attestation from a registered architect verifying that architectural plans and specifications meet or exceed department standards, rather than requiring submission of the actual plans and specifications themselves.

Amends section 36-422 to replace the requirement for submitting "architectural plans and specifications" with submission of the architect attestation as required by section 36-421.
