Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 13-3624 to extend the duration of emergency orders of protection from 72 hours to seven calendar days after issuance.

Removes the requirement that emergency orders expire "at the close of the next day of judicial business" or after 72 hours, whichever is longer.

Maintains judicial authority for judges, justices of the peace, magistrates, and commissioners to issue written or oral ex parte emergency orders of protection by telephone in counties with populations of 150,000 or more.

Preserves existing provisions regarding content of emergency orders, service requirements, law enforcement enforcement duties, and registration with the national crime information center.
