Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 13-1204 to add a new circumstance for aggravated assault when a person commits assault while in violation of either an order of protection (issued under sections 13-3602 or 13-3624) or a court order prohibiting contact with the victim.

Makes aggravated assault under these court order violation circumstances a class 6 felony.

Applies to assault as defined in section 13-1203, subsection A, paragraphs 1 or 3 (intentional or knowing assault, or recklessly causing physical injury).

Does not create new crimes but establishes an additional aggravating circumstance that elevates the severity of assault charges when domestic violence or protective order violations are involved.
