• Requires United States Capitol Police officers to notify the Arizona Department of Public Safety before taking official law enforcement action in the state, unless notification would impede their duties or they are certified as Arizona peace officers.

• Mandates Capitol Police officers notify the department as soon as practicable after taking law enforcement action if advance notification was not provided.

• Prohibits Arizona state entities, political subdivisions, law enforcement agencies, and their employees or agents from knowingly assisting Capitol Police officers or using state monies to support their activities.
