Amends the definition of "historical prior felony conviction" in Arizona Revised Statutes section 13-105 to reduce the lookback period for class 2 and 3 felonies from ten years to six years preceding the current offense.

Reduces the lookback period for class 4, 5, and 6 felonies from five years to five years (no change) and maintains the same exclusions for time spent on absconder status, escape status, or incarcerated.

Maintains existing categories of historical prior felony convictions including those mandating imprisonment, dangerous offenses, criminal enterprise violations, aggravated DUI, and dangerous crimes against children.

Clarifies that time spent on absconder or escape status while on probation or incarcerated is excluded when calculating whether an offense falls within the applicable lookback period.

Makes minor technical corrections to the statute including replacing "permitted" with "allowed" in related definitions.
