Prohibits using force against another person as a justified response to the victim's disclosure, discovery, or potential disclosure of their gender identity or sexual orientation.

Prohibits using force as a justified response to a nonviolent romantic or sexual advance made by the victim toward the person.

Bars defendants from claiming lower degrees of culpability based on the victim's gender identity, sexual orientation, or nonviolent romantic or sexual advances.

Eliminates discovery or knowledge of a victim's gender identity or sexual orientation, or nonviolent sexual advances, as adequate provocation for heat of passion or sudden quarrel defenses.

Applies regardless of whether the defendant's knowledge or belief about the victim's gender identity or sexual orientation was accurate.
