Extends the cash assistance time limit for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) recipients from 12 months to 60 months or the maximum allowed by federal law.

Removes the existing provision that automatically terminated cash assistance on July 1, 2016 for families who had received 12 or more months of assistance.

Eliminates subsection G which previously allowed families to receive an additional 12 months of assistance if they met work activity and school attendance requirements.

Prohibits the Department of Economic Security from requiring drug testing for TANF recipients, except as provided in section 46-219.

Applies the changes to the time limit provisions retroactively from June 30, 2022.
