Amends section 5-604 of the Arizona Revised Statutes relating to the Department of Gaming and its director.

Clarifies that a director or employee of the department cannot have employment or financial interest of relatives to the first degree of consanguinity or affinity in the gambling industry.

Establishes grounds for dismissal of the director or department employee if such relative employment or financial interests exist.

Makes technical correction to statutory language regarding dismissal procedures.
