Recognizes the importance of outdoor recreation to Arizona residents' physical, mental and social well-being, and its economic value of 201,000 jobs, $21.2 billion in annual consumer spending and $1.4 billion in local and state tax revenues.

Acknowledges that scientific research demonstrates increased time indoors and distance from nature leads to poor health outcomes, while time spent in nature provides physical, developmental and behavioral health benefits.

Affirms that all Arizona residents should have equitable access to outdoor experiences including hunting, fishing, hiking, wildlife watching, stargazing and water recreation on public lands and natural spaces.

Encourages respect for indigenous cultural resources including petroglyphs, pictographs and sacred landscapes, and recognizes the value of outdoor stewardship for future generations.

Calls on the Legislature to promote healthy, active outdoor lifestyles for Arizona residents while respecting private property rights.
