AZ SCR1015

Amends Arizona law to expand protections for public safety employees by allowing firefighters, emergency medical technicians, National Guard members, and border patrol agents to request that their personal information be redacted from public records maintained by the Department of Transportation.

Modifies aggravated assault statutes to classify assault on firefighters, emergency medical technicians, National Guard members, and border patrol agents (when engaged in official duties) as a class 4 felony, providing enhanced criminal penalties similar to those for assaults on other public safety officials.

Extends voter registration confidentiality protections to firefighters, emergency medical technicians, National Guard members, and border patrol agents who reasonably believe their safety or their family's safety is in danger, allowing them to seal their voter registration information from public access.

Updates the definition of "eligible person" across multiple statutes (sections 13-2401, 16-153, and 28-454) to include firefighters, emergency medical technicians, National Guard members, and border patrol agents in protection provisions previously limited to peace officers and other public officials.

Requires submission of this measure to Arizona voters at the next general election for approval as a constitutional referendum.
