Recognizes workers in healthcare, grocery stores, post offices, social services, law enforcement, emergency services, emergency communications, and delivery services as essential workers.

Acknowledges that essential workers continued operations at greater risk of contracting COVID-19 while other workers were directed to stay home.

Expresses the Legislature's sincere gratitude to essential employees for their work maintaining critical parts of the economy during the pandemic.
