Recognizes that more than 37 million American adults report hearing trouble, with only 16-30% of those who could benefit from hearing aids actually using them.

Notes that untreated hearing loss costs the U.S. economy $122 billion in lost earnings and can negatively impact household income by up to $12,000 annually.

Acknowledges the Arizona Commission for the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing's role in serving 1.1 million Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind Arizonans through various programs and services.

Encourages Arizona citizens to protect their hearing and seek regular hearing checks from licensed hearing health care professionals.
