Arizona Legislature applies to Congress under Article V of the U.S. Constitution to call a convention limited to proposing a constitutional amendment setting term limits for U.S. House Representatives and Senators.

Secretary of State must transmit copies of the resolution to the President of the U.S. Senate, Speaker of the House, relevant congressional committees, Arizona's congressional delegation, and presiding officers of each state legislature.

This application will be aggregated with applications from other states seeking the same term limits convention, but will not be combined with applications on any other subject matter.

The resolution constitutes a continuing application under Article V until legislatures from at least two-thirds of all states have submitted applications on the same subject.

Arizona joins 22 other states that previously passed term limit provisions for congressional candidates that were struck down by the U.S. Supreme Court.
