AZ SCR1050

Authorizes school districts to spend local revenues in excess of the Constitutional expenditure limitation for fiscal year 2021-2022 in the amount of $1,154,028,997.

Requires approval by at least two-thirds of the membership of each house of the legislature by roll call vote on or before March 1, 2022.

Without legislative authorization, school districts must reduce pro rata their expenditures of local revenues for the remainder of the fiscal year.

Addresses the aggregate expenditure limitation on school district local revenues established under Arizona Constitution article IX, section 21.
