Arizona Senate Resolution expressing condolences on the death of Mickey Ollson, who passed away on January 9, 2022, at age 80 following a battle with cancer.

Ollson founded Ollson's Rare Bird Farm to breed rare and endangered birds for zoological facilities and later opened Wildlife World Zoo in Litchfield Park, which expanded to nearly 100 acres over 38 years.

Wildlife World Zoo houses over 6,000 exotic animals and is recognized as Arizona's largest exotic animal collection, with Ollson personally present almost daily to oversee operations.

Ollson cofounded the Arizona United Animal Care and Business Coalition and received the Zoological Association of America's Lifetime Achievement Award in 2021.

Resolution extends Senate condolences to Ollson's surviving family, including his wife Connie, four children, eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
