Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 15-1809 to expand eligibility for the spouses of military veterans tuition scholarship fund to include surviving spouses who have not remarried.

Surviving spouses of honorably discharged veterans may now receive tuition scholarships covering full tuition and mandatory fees at Arizona universities or community colleges, reduced by other federal aid and scholarships received.

Eligible applicants must be Arizona residents, maintain satisfactory academic progress, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid annually, and submit a FERPA release form authorizing verification of eligibility.

Scholarships are limited to four academic years or eight semesters and may only be used for certificates, associate degrees, or baccalaureate degrees.

Awards are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, contingent on available funding, with the Arizona Board of Regents administering the fund and verifying applicant eligibility.
