Permits current licensed cosmetologists, aestheticians, nail technicians, or hairstylists from another state or country with at least one year of instructor experience to qualify for an Arizona instructor license.

Establishes alternative pathway for licensed practitioners without prior instructor experience to become instructors by completing substantially equivalent instructor training, passing an examination, and having five years of licensed industry experience within the preceding ten years.

Allows students enrolled in a school specifically to become instructors to receive compensation as paid employees of the school, unlike regular students who cannot receive salary or commission while enrolled.
