Allows sex designation changes on birth certificates when a licensed health care practitioner documents that a person has been diagnosed with an intersex condition.

Maintains existing procedures for amending birth certificates based on sex change operations or chromosomal counts verified by a physician.

Applies to both new birth certificate registrations and amendments to existing registered birth certificates in Arizona.
