Limits superintendent contract extensions or renegotiations to no earlier than 15 months before contract expiration for multi-year contracts.

Allows governing boards to rescind or terminate superintendent contracts if the superintendent violates board policies or if any school in the district receives a D or F letter grade for at least three consecutive years.

Removes superintendent eligibility for damages or remaining compensation if contract is terminated under the new grounds for early termination.

Applies the amendments to all new employment contracts entered into after the effective date of the act, not to existing contracts.
