AZ HB2311

Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 15-421 to add a minimum age requirement of 25 years for school district governing board member candidates.

Requires candidates to be registered voters of Arizona, at least 25 years old, and residents of the school district for at least one year preceding the election.

Allows current governing board members serving on the effective date of this act to continue serving until their terms expire, regardless of the new age requirement.

Makes technical corrections to statutory language regarding employee eligibility restrictions and candidate statement requirements for school board elections.
