AZ HB2378

Prohibits the secretary of state, county board supervisors, county recorders, and other election officers from serving as chairpersons, treasurers, or members of political action committees.

Extends the prohibition to employees of election officers and board of supervisors staff from serving in political action committee leadership or membership roles.

Prohibits election officials and their employees from coordinating with any political action committee regarding fundraising or advocacy for or against candidates or ballot measures.

Applies restrictions to independent contractors hired by election officials for election-related work.

Exempts an individual's membership on their own candidate committee for their own candidacy from the prohibition.
