Adds "failing to provide adequate informed patient consent for any treatment provided to a patient and to document the informed patient consent in the patient's medical record" as unprofessional conduct for both physicians (section 32-1401) and osteopathic physicians (section 32-1854).

Creates new section 32-3230.02 requiring all health professionals licensed or certified under chapters 13, 15, 17, or 25 of Arizona Revised Statutes to acknowledge and comply with patient rights as prescribed by the Department of Health Services.

Establishes that violations of patient rights compliance by health professionals constitute unprofessional conduct subject to disciplinary action by licensing boards.

Makes minor technical corrections to existing statute language regarding grammar and terminology in the definitions section.
