Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 44-1282 to extend do-not-call registry protections to include text messages in addition to telephone calls.

Prohibits sellers and solicitors from initiating outbound telephone solicitations or text messages to numbers registered on the national do-not-call registry, with limited exceptions for licensed professionals and consumers who have given express permission.

Maintains exceptions for calls related to past or present employment agreements, referrals from personal relationships, and express consumer requests or permissions.

Establishes violations as unlawful practices under Arizona law with civil penalties capped at $1,000 per violation, enforceable by the Attorney General.

Became effective April 12, 2023.
