Establishes the county sheriffs search and rescue equipment fund to be administered by the state treasurer, consisting of legislative appropriations.

Directs the state treasurer to distribute fund monies annually to county sheriffs offices for search and rescue equipment beginning in fiscal year 2023-2024, with specified percentage allocations per county.

Allocates funding percentages: Cochise County 18%, Coconino County 21%, Gila County 2.5%, Greenlee County 0.5%, Mohave County 21%, Navajo County 0.5%, Pinal County 22%, Yavapai County 13.5%, and Apache, Graham, La Paz, Maricopa, Pima, Santa Cruz and Yuma Counties a combined 1% on a first-come, first-served basis.

Appropriates $1,000,000 from the state general fund to the search and rescue equipment fund for fiscal year 2023-2024.

Exempts the appropriation from lapsing requirements, allowing unexpended monies to carry forward and be redistributed in the following fiscal year.
