AZ HB2601

Establishes the teen mental health grant program in the Department of Health Services to issue grants for mental health and wellness initiatives in schools and communities.

Authorizes grant funding for mental health first aid training, youth resiliency training, substance misuse awareness, anonymous safety reporting applications for students (24/7 availability), rural school prevention specialists, children's mental health providers, and digital wellness marketing campaigns.

Requires grant recipients to submit applications to the department and report outcomes and expenditure accounting by June 30 each year, including program data requested by the department.

Creates the teen mental health grant program fund consisting of legislative appropriations, federal monies, gifts, grants, and donations, to be administered by the department director.

Requires the department to submit an annual report by August 15 to the governor, House Speaker, and Senate President listing grant recipients, grant amounts, supported programs, and program outcomes.
