Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 15-902.04 to include private residential facilities alongside school districts and charter holders in the optional two hundred days of instruction program.

Private residential facilities that provide at least two hundred days of instruction may increase their base level by five percent, with approval from the department of education before the fiscal year begins.

Private residential facilities must ensure the last day of instruction occurs before June 30 and increase annual instructional hours by at least ten percent to receive the base level increase.

Defines "private residential facility" as having the same meaning prescribed in section 15-1181 of Arizona Revised Statutes.

Bill was approved by the governor and filed with the secretary of state on June 19, 2023.
