AHCCCS must issue eligibility redetermination decisions by December 31, 2023 for all members not redetermined since December 1, 2022 who were identified as factually ineligible through auto-renewal based on electronic database information.

AHCCCS is prohibited from establishing procedural requirements beyond federal minimums for redeterminations or removals, and may not follow federal guidance that conflicts with this section's requirements unless federally mandated.

AHCCCS must submit monthly reports from May 15, 2023 through May 15, 2024 to the governor, legislative leaders, and secretary of state detailing renewals initiated, members remaining enrolled, determinations of ineligibility, procedural terminations, and incomplete renewals.

Section 36-2905.05 is repealed effective December 31, 2024, and the reporting requirement is repealed the same date.

Appropriates $29,243,800 from the children's health insurance program fund and $1,653,957,950 in expenditure authority to AHCCCS for fiscal year 2022-2023 for adjustments in formula requirements.
