Title insurers must provide a form prescribed by the director to buyers and sellers of real estate allowing them to donate money to the housing trust fund.

The housing trust fund is expanded to include donations received pursuant to the new donation form requirement in addition to existing funding sources from unclaimed property and transfers.

Fund monies continue to be spent on developing projects and programs for housing opportunities for low and moderate income households and housing affordability programs.

A portion of fund monies must be used exclusively for housing in rural areas, with priority given to projects providing operating, constructing, or renovating facilities for low-income families with children.
