Appropriates $348,842.00 and two full-time positions to fund animal health inspectors at the Douglas and Nogales ports of entry.

Appropriates $326,231.44 and 1.5 full-time positions to fund certified peace officers in northern Cochise, Gila, Graham, and Greenlee counties for livestock neglect and cruelty investigations and health and ownership inspections.

Appropriates $193,787.94 and one full-time position to fund a certified peace officer to ensure compliance with the self-inspection program for cattle hauling and ownership transfers.

Appropriates $208,165.00 and one full-time position to fund an animal health regional supervisor; all appropriations are from the state general fund for fiscal year 2023-2024 and are intended as ongoing funding.
