• Urges United States Congress to enact sound forest management policies in national forest service lands that support multiple-use management and sustained economic yield

• Contends that the national forest system has experienced a 25-year crisis due to conflicting regulations and litigation that has excluded commercial activity and resulted in overly dense, unhealthy forests vulnerable to catastrophic wildfires

• Argues that reduced timber harvesting and active forest management have contributed to severe wildfires, increased erosion, greenhouse gas emissions, air pollution, loss of fish and wildlife, and economic hardship in rural communities

• Directs the Arizona Secretary of State to transmit copies of this memorial to the President, U.S. Senate President, U.S. House Speaker, and all Arizona members of Congress
