Acknowledges that Assyrians are an indigenous Semitic people of Mesopotamia with over 600,000 living in the United States, including tens of thousands in Arizona.

Notes the Assyrian New Year celebrates the year 6773 and is observed for 12 days with celebrations, family gatherings, parades, and festivals symbolizing spring, rebirth, and renewal.

Honors the historical contributions of Assyrians to civilization, including technological advances such as irrigation systems, the wheel, arch and dome architecture, and astronomical calculations.

Recognizes Assyrians as productive members of American society who contribute to numerous professional fields including medicine, engineering, aerospace, education, finance, and military service.
