Amends Arizona Revised Statutes § 12-299.10 to expand the duties and authority of certified court security officers employed by the judicial branch.

Adds "court participants" to the list of individuals court security officers must protect, in addition to judicial branch employees and facilities.

Expands court security officers' authority to respond to threats and emergencies involving court participants, including jurors, witnesses, and victims, not just judicial branch employees.

Clarifies that court security officers may detain persons and respond to emergencies at locations where judicial branch employee meetings are convening, extending jurisdiction beyond just court proceedings.

Maintains existing restriction that court security officers are ineligible for enrollment in state retirement plans based solely on their employment as court security officers.
