AZ SB1020

Amends Arizona open meetings law to require public bodies to provide seating sufficient to accommodate reasonably anticipated attendance at public meetings when feasible.

Changes language from "permitted" to "allowed" for public attendance at meetings and clarifies that all legal actions must occur during public meetings.

Requires agendas to include notice of the time that the public will have physical access to the meeting place.

Makes minor technical corrections to statute language, including changing "twenty-four hour" to "twenty-four-hour" and updating terminology for technological failures affecting website posting.

Applies to public bodies including state agencies, counties, school districts, cities, towns, charter schools, and special districts formed under Arizona Title 48.
