AZ SB1130

Adds section 35-190.01 to Arizona Revised Statutes prohibiting the deferral of state obligations required to be paid from the general fund in one fiscal year to another fiscal year.

Exempts funding deferrals for basic state aid and additional state aid entitlements that would be apportioned to school districts pursuant to section 15-973 from the deferral prohibition.

Became effective upon approval by the Governor on March 29, 2023.
