AZ SB1300

Amends Arizona law on interference with or disruption of educational institutions (A.R.S. § 13-2911) to add protections for concealed weapon possession by permit holders.

Prohibits governing boards of universities, colleges, and community colleges from adopting policies that ban possession of concealed weapons by persons with a valid permit issued or recognized under A.R.S. § 13-3112 or firearm transportation/storage under A.R.S. § 12-781.

Prohibits educational institution governing boards from adopting policies that ban lawful possession or carrying of deadly weapons on public rights-of-way or within a person's means of transportation.

Maintains existing penalties: Class 6 felony for threatening conduct or damage, and Class 1 misdemeanor for unauthorized entry/remaining on property or refusing lawful orders to leave.

Clarifies that approved gun safety programs on school campuses and rules for private educational institutions are not affected by these provisions.
