Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 28-5802 to expand vehicle license tax exemptions for veterans with service-connected disabilities.

Extends exemption eligibility to veterans with at least 40 percent disability resulting from lower limb amputation who are drawing compensation from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Previously, exemptions only applied to veterans with 100 percent disability ratings; this change adds veterans with 40 percent or higher disability ratings specifically related to lower limb amputations.

Exemption applies to one personally owned vehicle or a vehicle jointly owned with another party, and surviving spouses may continue the exemption until remarriage or death.

Requires veterans to present satisfactory proof from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs of their disability rating and compensation status when registering the vehicle.
