Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 13-405 to add new exceptions where deadly physical force is not justified.

Prohibits a person from threatening or using deadly physical force against another if they leave a place of safety and actively pursue the other person who is engaged in a lawful activity.

Prohibits a person from threatening or using deadly physical force if they pursue the other person after a law enforcement officer requests that the person retreat to a place of safety.

Maintains existing law that a person has no duty to retreat before using deadly physical force if they are in a place where they may legally be and are not engaged in an unlawful act.
