Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 36-2006 regarding Department of Health Services monitoring of alcohol and drug screening, education, and treatment programs.

Changes statutory reference in section 36-2006(A) from "8-249" to "8-343" for programs used pursuant to specified sections related to alcohol and drug services.

Maintains Department of Health Services authority to adopt rules establishing standards for approval and referral to alcohol and drug screening, education, and treatment facilities.

Preserves Department of Health Services responsibilities to establish standardized screening assessments and reporting and record keeping requirements for alcohol and drug treatment facilities.
