Changes the primary election date from the first Tuesday in August to the last Tuesday before the last Monday in May, effective beginning in 2024.

Modifies Arizona Revised Statutes sections 16-201, 16-204, and 16-206 to reflect the new primary election timing for all elections held in 2024 and later.

Applies the new May primary election date to candidate elections held by political subdivisions including counties, cities, towns, school districts, and community college districts.

Maintains the general election date as the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November for runoff or general elections following the primary.
