Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 36-2907 to add acupuncture services as a covered health and medical service under the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS).

Acupuncture services must be performed by a licensed acupuncturist under title 32, chapter 39 and ordered by a primary care physician or primary care practitioner.

Requires approval by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services for coverage of these medically necessary acupuncture services.

Directs the administration to adopt rules determining the number of acupuncture service visits a primary care physician or primary care practitioner may order.
