State treasurer may cancel state contracts with financial institutions that have written policies regarding environmental, social and governance issues that include boycotting fossil fuels.

Attorney general shall investigate financial institutions meeting the criteria described in subsection A upon referral from the state treasurer.

Public entities, including the state, political subdivisions, and their agencies, boards, commissions and departments, are prohibited from investing public monies in financial institutions with fossil fuel boycott policies.
