Amends Section 15-914.02 to require charter schools to comply with audit reporting, follow-up, and hearing participation requirements that currently apply to school districts.

Repeals the version of Section 41-1279.03 amended by Laws 2021, chapter 405, section 25 and reenacts the version as amended by Laws 2019, chapter 3, section 11.

Expands the auditor general's schoolwide audit team duties to include performance audits and monitoring of charter schools alongside school districts to determine the percentage of every dollar spent in classrooms.

Requires charter schools subject to audits to notify the auditor general in writing of agreement or disagreement with findings and submit status reports every six months for two years regarding implementation.

Grants the auditor general and authorized representatives authority to examine records and attend executive sessions of charter schools, consistent with existing authority over school districts.
