AZ HB2005

Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 30-104 to add a new subsection B establishing coordination requirements between the Director of Water Resources and the Arizona Power Authority.

Requires the Director of Water Resources to coordinate and confer with the Authority on matters within the Authority's jurisdiction relating to surface water, groundwater, and state water plan development.

Directs the Director of Water Resources to cooperate with the Authority in performing the Authority's duties and functions.

Maintains existing requirement that the Authority cooperate with the state land department and Director of Water Resources on matters related to hydroelectric power generation aspects of water resource development and use.
